Borough of Barnsley - Success at Scarborough

The Borough of Barnsley Swimming Club made their annual pilgrimage to Scarborough last weekend to take part in the Scarborough Swimming Club A&B gala.  Taking over 20 swimmers the club managed to secure over 80 medals.

 

Head coach Carly Herbert praised the swimmers saying that "The amount of personal best, medals and speeding medals were phenomenal. The team spirit on poolside and [team] support was amazing and wonderful to watch everyone cheering each other on through their races."

 

The  club is now focussing on their upcoming summer sizzler gala to be held in 2 weeks time at Ponds Forge where over 300 swimmers will take part in a days racing. Anyone interested in finding out more about the swimming  club can contact press@bobsc.co.uk
