Scarborough

42 Borough of Barnsley swimming team made the annual trip to the Scarborough AB swimming gala last weekend. Over 50% of all swims were personal bests and the medal haul was split as follows

11 speeding medals (faster than gold)

45 gold

31 Silver

38 Bronze

 

Adrian Wightman the club's Media Officer said "The swimmers really put their heart and soul into their swims over a long weekend's fixture.  To come away with such a large number of speeding tickets and medals is a great testament to the training undertaken and the swimmers passion for their sport."
